• The Middle Section curriculum is built around providing students with essential education and life skills. Mathematics, languages, science and civic education are made compulsory for students. The students can opt for aesthetic subjects and languages of their choice.
• It is during the time in the Middle Section that the students are first exposed to multiple teachers. Though the students are provided with a class teacher to act as their mentor and counsellor, they will be assigned separate teachers for each subject. The class teacher acts as a liaison between all the subject teachers and the parents and would provide a detailed report of the student’s performance.

• The most talented students are admitted to the Middle Section through the all-island scholarship examination and as such competitive examinations take a more important place in middle school. The students are encouraged to compete and learn from each other.
• The students are encouraged to join clubs and societies from Grade 6 onwards.
• The goal of the Middle section is to allow the students to get their first taste of a truly academic yet liberal education and thus allow the students to start making their own choices in life.

UPPER SECTION: ORDINARY LEVEL (10-11)

• The Upper Section consists of Grades 10 to Grade 13 and is divided into two main sections which will focus on the Ordinary Level General Certificate of Education and Advanced Level General Certificate of Education examinations.

• The Upper Middle Section consists of Grades 10 and 11 where the students are encouraged to solely focus on the Ordinary Level examination.

Upper Section: Advanced Level

• This section of the school is divided into four distinct streams, the Mathematics stream, the Science Stream, the Commerce Stream and the Arts Stream. The students are given practical and theoretical knowledge in their chosen stream.
